Advanced Life Support

Chapin Ambulance is a licensed Advanced Life Support service. To maintain an advanced life support license, Chapin Ambulance employs paramedics who are trained in providing higher levels of care to patients. ALS ambulances are equipped with Cardiac Monitoring, IV therapy, advanced medication and other advanced equipment needed to treat the most sick and critical patients. Each ambulance is stocked with a Phsyio Control Lifepak 15 Cardiac Monitor. They are considered to be the highest quality monitors used by many trusted services and local governments. These monitors provide cardiac monitoring, 12-lead EKG, Synchronized/Unsynchronized defibrillation, Cardioversion, Pacing, and End-Tidal CO2 Monitoring. Chapin Ambulance also provides a paramedic intercept vehicle equipped with all the designated equipment contained within one SUV. These SUV’s respond with one paramedic to meet a BLS ambulance on scene to provide a higher level of care.

Basic Life Support

Chapin Ambulance provides additional Basic Life Support services. Each BLS ambulance is staffed with two certified EMTs who provide non-emergent and emergent responses. BLS ambulances are equipped with trauma supplies, AEDs, and oxygen therapy. BLS ambulances respond to any emergency and are capable of providing treatment and transport to the sick and injured. Additionally BLS ambulances are equipped with equipment such as CPAP airways, IGEL advanced airways for cardiac arrests and supplementary medication.

Wheelchair transport

Chapin Ambulance provides Wheelchair Transport Solutions to match your needs. Our fleet of wheelchair transport vehicles are available at any time and can be requested via our dispatch center.

At this time, we are only accepting Wheelchair Trasports via Private Pay. We currently do not accept insuance payments for wheelchair trips. Private pay rates are available upon request through dispatch.
